About HBOT

The physics of HBOT: How pressure powers healing.

Dalton’s Law: how gas mixtures exert pressure.

In A Nutshell

Dalton's Law

John Dalton revealed that in a mixture of gases, each gas exerts its own pressure, called a partial pressure, independent of the other gases. The total pressure of the mixture is the sum of those individual pressures.

HBOT Role

Dalton's Role in HBOT

Normally, the air you breathe is a mix of gases. At standard sea-level pressure, or 1.0 ATA (atmospheres absolute), that air is roughly 21% oxygen, 78% nitrogen, with small amounts of other gases. Under normal conditions, that 21% oxygen creates a mild partial pressure that moves oxygen from your lungs into your bloodstream.

When the pressure in a hyperbaric chamber increases to 2.0 to 3.0 ATAs, the total pressure rises with it. This multiplies oxygen’s partial pressure, driving much more oxygen into your lungs and then into your bloodstream.

This is where Henry’s Law comes into play.

inside the Chamber

For most people, HBOT feels relaxing.

You rest inside the chamber and breathe normally while treatment is underway. Many people use the time to read, color, pray, or simply rest.

Most sessions last about 90 minutes, and best outcomes are supported by a series of 40 sessions. Your treatment plan can be adjusted based on your needs and response.

3 Easy Steps

How HBOT Care Begins

Step 1

Complete the new patient intake forms, which will serve as a guide for your consultation with our licensed medical provider.

Step 2

If HBOT offers an appropriate path of care, you will receive a prescription for a treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals.

Step 3

Start your HBOT sessions and let oxygen do what it does best: help the body’s natural capacity to repair and heal.

Your Safety Is Central

Safety Standards

Our team of hyperbaric technicians is trained and certified through the International Board of Undersea Medicine (IBUM). Undersea and hyperbaric medicine is a unified discipline focused on the therapeutic use of oxygen under pressure to treat a wide range of medical conditions and recovery needs linked to inflammation and poor oxygen delivery.

Through IBUM, we have gained deep knowledge in hyperbaric facility management, safety protocols, and HBOT chamber operation. A certified hyperbaric technician remains present throughout each session, and the treatment environment is continuously monitored.

Hope Hyperbarics uses only FDA-cleared and PVHO/ASME-approved steel chambers made in the USA.

We Are Cash-Based

Pricing & Payment

We are a cash-based clinic and do not bill insurance at this time. HSA payments are accepted.

If cost is a concern, we can work with you to create a payment plan. We also offer need-based scholarships through our Hope for Healing Foundation.

Standard pricing:

  • Medical consultation, 30 minutes: $100
  • 60-minute HBOT session: $145
  • 90-minute HBOT session: $165

Hope For Healing Foundation

If cost is a barrier, the Hope for Healing Foundation is here. Through need-based HBOT scholarships and no-cost restorative nature experiences, we help patients and caregivers heal.
